British boxing fans are in for a treat as Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois are set to face off in a highly anticipated bout for the IBF world heavyweight title at a sold-out Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 21. The fight, scheduled for 12 rounds, will see the two British fighters vying for the title vacated by Oleksandr Usyk in June.
Joshua, a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion with a professional record of 28 wins from 31 bouts, will take on Dubois, a rising star in the heavyweight division with 21 wins from 23 pro fights. Both fighters have expressed their readiness and eagerness to claim the IBF title in what promises to be a thrilling showdown.
The event, expected to draw a record post-war British boxing crowd of 96,000, will also feature an exciting lineup of undercard fights, including Tyler Denny vs Hamza Sheeraz, Anthony Cacace vs Josh Warrington, and Joshua Buatsi vs Willy Hutchinson.
The ring walk for the Joshua vs Dubois fight is set for 11:30pm (22:30 GMT), with the fight likely to start shortly after. Both boxers are guaranteed a minimum purse for the bout, with Joshua potentially earning up to $33m depending on pay-per-view sales and Dubois set to take home up to $13.3m.
