Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a wave of new sexual assault and rape accusations, with five new civil lawsuits filed against him by attorney Tony Buzbee. The suits include allegations that Combs sexually assaulted or raped the plaintiffs in separate incidents between 2000 and 2022, with two plaintiffs being men and three being women. One woman claimed she was raped by Combs when she was 13 years old. Combs is also accused of drugging one of the men and all three women. Buzbee plans to file a total of seven suits against Combs.
Combs’ legal team has denied all accusations and expressed confidence in the facts and their legal defenses. Combs is currently being held without bail on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, with his criminal trial set to start in May. Federal prosecutors are going through data on over 90 devices seized from Combs’ properties.
Combs’ legal team has filed a motion requesting his accusers in the federal sex trafficking case be identified publicly for a proper defense. Combs has been sued by several individuals, including Dawn Richard, a former member of Danity Kane, who alleged he groped, assaulted, and threatened her life. Combs has denied all allegations against him.
Combs is continuing to fight his bail denial through an appeal in New York’s federal appeals court. These new lawsuits come after previous accusations by his former girlfriend and others, including the recent settlement of a lawsuit filed by Cassandra Ventura. Combs, through his attorneys, maintains his innocence in all cases.
