Fargo Hosts Thrilling First Round of North Dakota Class A Volleyball Tournament
FARGO — The North Dakota Class A state volleyball tournament kicked off at the Fargodome on Thursday, showcasing exciting matches and exceptional talent. Among the standout performances, West Fargo Sheyenne and Fargo Shanley both secured victories to advance to the semifinals.
The Mustangs dominated Jamestown with a decisive 25-20, 25-14, 25-17 win, while Shanley triumphed over Bismarck in a tighter contest, finishing with scores of 25-22, 25-21, 15-25, and 25-19. This sets the stage for a highly anticipated semifinal matchup between Sheyenne and Shanley at 1 p.m. on Friday.
Bismarck Century also delivered an impressive performance, defeating Fargo Davies with a commanding score of 25-16, 25-17, 25-12. On the other side of the bracket, Bismarck Legacy edged past West Fargo Horace with a thrilling 25-23, 25-16, 21-25, 27-25 contest, advancing to face Century in the semifinals at 3 p.m.
