Erna Duvall, a beloved resident of Jamestown, North Dakota, passed away on April 16, 2025 at Ave Maria Village. Born in 1930 in Streeter, North Dakota, Erna spent her early years on a farm and later moved to Sacramento, California with her husband Ralph. She worked in a grocery store and daycare before returning to North Dakota in 2000.
Erna was a dedicated member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Eagles auxiliary. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, and six brothers. A funeral service will be held on April 22, 2025 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jamestown, with Pastor Erik Weber officiating. Visitation will take place one hour before the service, and Erna will be laid to rest at St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery in Streeter, North Dakota.
Memorials in Erna’s honor can be sent to St. Luke’s Cemetery in Streeter. The arrangements are being handled by Eddy Funeral Home. Erna’s passing is mourned by all who knew her, as she is remembered for her kindness, dedication to her community, and love for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
