Grand Forks Welcomes Six New Players to UND Women’s Basketball Roster
Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of North Dakota women’s basketball team is gearing up for the 2025-26 season with the announcement of six new roster additions. Head Coach Dennis Hutter welcomed five transfers and one true freshman, aiming to strengthen the team’s competitiveness.
Among the newcomers is Hanna Miller, a forward from Aberdeen, South Dakota. Miller is transferring from Arizona State University, where she participated in 11 games and contributed 18 points and 16 rebounds over her two-year tenure. Previously, at Dodge City Community College, she helped her team clinch the KJCCC title, setting numerous records during a stellar season.
Joining her is Ava Miller, a forward from Minnesota who spent her freshman year at USC Upstate. With impressive shooting stats, Ava averaged 16.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in her senior year of high school, earning multiple all-conference honors.
London Harris, a guard from Minneapolis, stands out with a decorated high school career, including being named Minnesota’s Defensive Player of the Year and participating in multiple state championship games.
Finley Ohnstad, from Lakeville, Minnesota, arrives after a notable freshman year at Kansas State University. Ohnstad broke her high school’s scoring record and was recognized as an All-State talent.
Addison Klosterbuer, a guard from Iowa, a former two-time IBCA Player of the Year, joins after a challenging freshman season due to injury while at the University of South Dakota. She is noted for her three-point shooting prowess.
Lastly, Mackenzie Hughes comes from Mayville State University, where she made significant contributions over four years, including being recognized as an NAIA All-American.
