Exciting Updates for North Dakota State Fair’s 60th Anniversary
MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – The North Dakota State Fair, set to take place from July 18-26, is gearing up for an exciting celebration as it marks its 60th anniversary. General manager Craig Rudland announced several thrilling new attractions, including rides that will soar up to 140 feet and reach speeds of 80 miles per hour.
In an effort to enhance the visitor experience, fair organizers have invested significantly in technology, installing approximately 120 miles of fiber optics throughout the fairgrounds to provide Wi-Fi access. "This upgrade will help our vendors and many other operations run much smoother," Rudland commented.
Additionally, the fairgrounds are undergoing a major roofing renovation on the State Fair Center, a project expected to cost around $6 million. This facility is utilized by thousands of vendors and exhibitors throughout the year.
With these upgrades, the 2023 North Dakota State Fair promises to deliver a memorable experience for all attendees. As excitement builds, fairgoers can look forward to a fun-filled time with new attractions and improved connectivity.
