South Dakota State Women’s Basketball to Host Second-Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Celebration
BROOKINGS, S.D. — The South Dakota State University (SDSU) women’s basketball team is excited to announce its second-annual National Girls & Women in Sports Celebration game, scheduled for Saturday, February 8, at the First Bank & Trust Arena. The Jackrabbits will face off against Oral Roberts at 11 a.m. in a Summit League matchup.
In anticipation of the event, SDSU will offer an array of pregame activities starting at 10 a.m. for all ticket holders. Fans can enjoy engaging activities like poster making, bracelet crafting, and temporary tattoo stations, along with photo opportunities. The first 500 attendees will receive complimentary t-shirts, adding to the festive atmosphere. Postgame, players will sign autographs on a special commemorative poster, showcasing the day’s significance.
