Acme Tools Expands with New Store in Eagan, Minnesota
Grand Forks, MN – May 26 – Acme Tools, a Grand Forks-based company, is set to expand its footprint with the opening of a new store in Eagan, Minnesota. The 41,470-square-foot facility features a 15,943-square-foot state-of-the-art showroom, offices, and a spacious warehouse designed to enhance customer experience.
This marks Acme Tools’ fourth retail location in Minnesota and its second suburban store serving the Twin Cities area. “We are excited to enhance our service to customers in the St. Paul area with this new Eagan location,” said Steve Kuhlman, president of corporate operations.
The new store is expected to create 40 jobs, adding to Acme Tools’ existing workforce of 600. Founded in 1948 initially as an electric motor repair shop, Acme Tools has evolved into a full-line dealer for major power and hand tool brands.
The Eagan location joins existing stores in Duluth, Bemidji, and Plymouth, contributing to a total of 11 retail locations across Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota. Customers can choose from over 100,000 products from more than 1,200 brands, with a strong emphasis on outdoor power equipment for both homeowners and landscapers.
