Oklahoma Man Faces Human Trafficking Charges in North Dakota

BISMARCK — Anthony Chatel Glenn, a 45-year-old man from Oklahoma, has been charged with two felony counts of human trafficking concerning the sexual servitude of adults. Additionally, he faces a misdemeanor charge for allegedly attempting to tamper with evidence. Glenn appeared in Burleigh County District Court on May 30.

The Bismarck Police Department linked Glenn to an online advertisement offering sex services for money. An undercover operation on February 24 led officers to a hotel room, rented under Glenn’s name, where they discovered two women aged 27 and 36 engaged in commercial sex. Both women, from out of state, reported being coerced into the work. Investigative findings from their phones indicated Glenn orchestrated the arrangements and sent messages that suggested he was forcing the women into prostitution.

Glenn was arrested on April 3 in Missouri and extradited back to North Dakota, where he is currently held at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. If convicted of the felony charges, he could face up to 20 years in prison for each count. The case raises ongoing concerns regarding human trafficking in the region.
