Victoria Royals’ Cole Reschny Signs with North Dakota
Victoria Royals forward Cole Reschny has committed to play for the University of North Dakota, as announced on Friday. Hailing from Macklin, Saskatchewan, the skilled player enjoyed a standout season in 2024-25, amassing 92 points through 26 goals and 66 assists in 62 regular-season games. Reschny also showcased his talent on the international stage, helping Canada secure gold at the World U18 Championship earlier this year, where he recorded five goals and three assists over five games.
Ranked as the 25th best North American skater by NHL Central Scouting in its final 2025 prospects rankings, the 2007-born skater is eligible for the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. Reschny will join the Fighting Hawks roster for the 2025-26 NCAA season, and his performance is anticipated to be pivotal as he transitions to collegiate hockey.
