Big Game Motorsports Reports Strong Performances in North Dakota
Big Game Motorsports achieved back-to-back runner-up finishes in North Dakota last weekend, solidifying driver David Gravel’s position atop the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series standings, leading by 188 points. Gravel’s impressive season continues, with 17 podium finishes in 28 races.
The team began its weekend at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, where Gravel qualified fourth. He won his heat race and secured the pole for the feature event but ultimately finished in second place after losing the lead to Buddy Kofoid. "I felt happy with how our weekend went," Gravel stated, noting the competitive nature of racing.
Saturday’s event at Red River Valley Speedway saw Gravel qualify third and win his heat, starting the feature from the inside of the second row. Despite challenges with a greasy track, he managed to secure another second-place finish.
Looking ahead, the team is gearing up for a busy week with four races in five days, starting with the FENDT Showdown in Jackson, Minnesota. Gravel expressed eagerness for the upcoming challenges, especially at tracks he’s looking to conquer.
