University of North Dakota Adds Six Transfers to 2025 Football Roster
Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of North Dakota’s head football coach Eric Schmidt announced the recruitment of six new transfers who will join the Fighting Hawks for the upcoming 2025 season. Coach Schmidt expressed his confidence in the new additions, stating, "Our staff has done an excellent job adding these six young men to our family. Each player fits a specific need on our team and will create more competition on our roster."

Idrique Carmichael (DB, 5-10, 180, Pasadena, Calif.): A standout at Pasadena City College, Carmichael recorded 59 tackles, eight interceptions, and earned the title of 2023 APL Defensive Player of the Year.

Michael Devereaux (LB, 6-1, 235, El Reno, Okla.): Devereaux joins from Old Dominion, where he contributed nine tackles and half a sack in four games, previously amassing 50 tackles in two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.

Watson Hafer (TE, 6-4, 230, West Plains, Mo.): After spending two years at Missouri State, Hafer was recognized for his performance on the Offensive Scout Team and had an impressive high school career with 39 receptions for 500 yards.

Tyler Henry (DL, 6-3, 285, Houston, Texas): Henry played three seasons at Sacramento State and contributed to their playoff run in 2023, showcasing strong potential on the defensive line.

Hunter Kallstrom (TE, 6-4, 225, Kerkhoven, Minn.): Coming from Wyoming and a notable high school career, Kallstrom was a highly-rated recruit and participated in the 2023 Minnesota High School All-Star Game.
- Xavier Leigh (RB, 5-10, 189, Troy, N.Y.): A versatile running back from Sacred Heart University, Leigh recorded 729 yards and six touchdowns over four seasons.
