BROOKINGS, S.D. — The South Dakota State University (SDSU) soccer team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025 season, marking the program’s 26th year. The Jackrabbits return to competition after a successful 2024 campaign, where they secured their second consecutive Summit League tournament championship, adding to their impressive total of 15 conference titles.

Fans can catch the Jackrabbits during their initial public appearances at Fishback Soccer Park. The season kicks off with the annual Blue vs. Yellow Scrimmage on July 31, followed by exhibition matches against Nebraska on August 5, and Iowa Lakes Community College on August 8.

SDSU officially commences its 2025 season with a challenging two-match road trip, facing Missouri on August 14 and Kansas on August 17. The team’s home opener will occur on August 22 as they host Southwest Minnesota State.

An exciting highlight this season includes the Jackrabbits’ trip to Hawaii, where they will play three matches at the Waipi’o Soccer Complex. They will compete against Hawaii Pacific on August 25, Cal Baptist on August 28, and Northern Arizona on August 31.

September sees the Jackrabbits play six of their next seven matches at home, including contests against Oregon State (Sept. 7), Northern Colorado (Sept. 14), and Wyoming (Sept. 18). Their Summit League campaign begins on September 25 against St. Thomas in Brookings, followed by key matchups with North Dakota and North Dakota State.

Senior Day is scheduled for October 12 against Omaha, while the final three regular-season matches will be on the road, featuring the Interstate Series game against South Dakota on October 18. The Summit League Championship tournament is set for November 1-9, with host sites determined by regular season standings.
