AMVets Charity Ride Supports North Dakota Veterans Home
FARGO, N.D. – AMVets of Fargo organized a charity motorcycle ride this past weekend, raising vital funds for the North Dakota Veterans Home. With a registration fee of $25 per bike, the event saw over 40 riders participate, demonstrating strong community support for local veterans.
The ride commenced on Saturday morning, taking participants to Lisbon, where the veterans’ home is located. Wayne Krueger, an AMVets member, emphasized the joy their visits bring to the residents. “They love it. They love it when we come there,” he said, highlighting the positive impact of their support. The veterans’ home is not only a residence but also features a museum that showcases military history, making visits particularly meaningful for the riders.
