Horace, ND – Excitement is building for the 2025 North Dakota State High School Clay Target League State Tournament, scheduled for June 13-15 at The Shooting Park in Horace. This year, 1,562 students from 97 high school teams across the state will compete in the event, as reported by the league.
The North Dakota State High School Clay Target League has seen significant growth this spring, with 2,347 students participating from 107 teams statewide. The league is part of the USA Clay Target League, which promotes clay target shooting at both high school and collegiate levels nationwide.
Outstanding performers at the state tournament will earn the opportunity to showcase their skills at the USA High School Clay Target League National Championship, which is set to take place from July 9-13 in Mason, Michigan.
As students prepare for the upcoming tournament, the community is encouraged to support these young athletes in their pursuit of excellence in the sport. The event promises to celebrate sportsmanship and camaraderie among participants, highlighting the growth and popularity of clay target shooting in North Dakota.
