North Dakota State University Football Team Set to Visit White House Post-Championship Win

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University (NDSU) football team will visit the White House and U.S. Capitol on April 9 in recognition of their victory in the 2025 NCAA Division I FCS national championship. The announcement was made by Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, along with Representative Julie Fedorchak.

Senator Hoeven has been instrumental in arranging the visit, following discussions with President Trump. “The Bison are tremendous representatives of our state, having developed a record of excellence through their hard work, dedication, and strong leadership. We are looking forward to honoring their achievements on April 9, and we appreciate President Trump and his team for making this visit possible,” Hoeven stated.

Senator Cramer echoed these sentiments, remarking, “Like President Trump, the Bison never get tired of winning. I’m looking forward to celebrating our victory together.” Representative Fedorchak added, “In North Dakota, we take pride in our agriculture, our energy, and our North Dakota State University Bison.”

The NDSU Bison clinched their place in history by defeating Montana State 35-32 on January 6, marking their 10th FCS championship title. The upcoming White House visit serves as a fitting tribute to a program that continues to exemplify excellence in collegiate sports.

This visit is not only a celebration of athletic success but also an acknowledgment of the pride that North Dakotans have in their state and its achievements. The invitation reflects the unwavering support from state leaders, who are eager to showcase the accomplishments of the Bison on a national stage.
