Fargo Woman Charged Following Rural Crash Injuring Three

HUNTER, N.D. — A 41-year-old Fargo woman faces charges of criminal vehicular injury and drug offenses after a serious crash in Cass County on June 13. Reports from the North Dakota Highway Patrol indicate that she was driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on Cass County Road 26 when she crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2024 Toyota Rav4.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m., approximately half a mile from Northern Cass Public Schools. Though the Hyundai driver was wearing her seatbelt, she sustained serious injuries. She has since been charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The driver of the Toyota, a 54-year-old woman from Galesburg, N.D., suffered minor injuries, while her young passenger from Hope, N.D., sustained serious injuries; both were also buckled up. All three individuals were transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment. This section of County Road 26 remained closed into the afternoon as authorities conducted their investigation.
