Fargo, N.D. — At the Walmart on 13th Avenue South, 73-year-old Ernest Mayhorn has captured the hearts of shoppers and staff alike. Working at the store for a year and a half, Mayhorn has become known for his unwavering positivity and genuine desire to uplift others. “All this is, is just interacting and socializing with people,” he explained, emphasizing his aim to enrich customers’ lives during their visits.
Team Lead Maccie Baker praised Mayhorn, stating he has a remarkable ability to turn a bad day into a good one for many patrons. Known for distributing candy and popcorn, Mayhorn believes people come to Walmart not just to shop, but often for a dose of inspiration.
