University of North Dakota Volleyball Welcomes Three Transfer Athletes for 2025-26 Season

Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of North Dakota’s volleyball program is set to enhance its roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season with the addition of three talented transfer student-athletes, announced head coach Jesse Tupac. All three players come from Division I institutions, bringing valuable experience to the Fighting Hawks.

Reagan McIntosh, a 6’0” setter from Verona, Wisconsin, joins UND from Middle Tennessee State, where she played 51 sets in her freshman year. Known for her assists (72 in total) and solid defensive skills, McIntosh also earned accolades for her leadership on and off the court.

Las Vegas native Katie Paez, a 5’5” libero from Virginia Commonwealth, has demonstrated her skill set across two seasons, accumulating 70 digs in her sophomore year alone. Praised for her defensive capabilities and team-oriented attitude, Paez is anticipated to make a significant impact at UND.

Completing the trio is Kenya Prescott, a versatile libero/defensive specialist who comes from Iowa after a standout tenure at Des Moines Area Community College. Renowned for her extraordinary digging stats, Prescott holds DMACC’s career record for digs and received numerous academic honors, showcasing her commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome Katie, Kenya, and Reagan to our program,” said Coach Tupac. “Their experiences and competitive spirits will add depth and talent, particularly at the libero and setter positions. These athletes have the potential to make a big impact in our volleyball program.”

The Fighting Hawks’ program is poised for growth as these new recruits prepare to bring their unique skills to Grand Forks. Fans can expect an exciting season ahead as they integrate into the team. Follow UND Volleyball on social media for the latest updates and news.
