UND Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2025
Grand Forks, N.D. – The University of North Dakota (UND) has officially revealed its Hall of Fame Class of 2025, as announced by Athletic Director Bill Chaves and Letterwinners Association President Brian Westlund. The induction ceremony will take place on September 19, 2025, at the Alerus Center.
The new inductees include eight distinguished individuals: Rob Stiles (Wrestling/Men’s Golf), Mark Murdock (Men’s Track & Field), Dave Hudson (Men’s Hockey), Jodie Schwartz Jones (Women’s Swimming/Diving), Liz Kaler Olson (Women’s Golf), Randy Harles (Football), Kelly Howe (Football), and Theresa LeCuyer (Women’s Basketball). Additionally, the 2000-01 women’s basketball team will be honored as a collective unit.
The event will feature a dinner and an induction ceremony, with the inductees also being recognized during a home football game against Valparaiso the following day. This year’s inductees bring the total number of individuals in the Letterwinners Hall of Fame to 296, alongside 48 teams.
Among the notable inductees, Randy Harles was a formidable defensive player for the Fighting Sioux football team, while Kelly Howe holds the record for career interceptions. Dave Hudson made significant contributions to men’s hockey, and Liz Kaler Olson is celebrated as one of the top women golfers at UND. Meanwhile, Theresa LeCuyer solidified her place in women’s basketball history with remarkable statistics during her career.
Honors will also be bestowed upon Forrest Flaagan, recognized with the Tom Clifford Award for his outstanding coaching career in cross-country, and the Mikkelson family, who will receive the Honorary Letterwinner Award for their ongoing contributions to UND Athletics.
The Hall of Fame event promises to be a memorable occasion, celebrating the rich athletic legacy of the University of North Dakota.
