1,562 Students to Compete at North Dakota High School Clay Target League State Tournament
HORACE, N.D. — The 2025 North Dakota State High School Clay Target League State Tournament is poised to attract a significant turnout from June 13-15 at The Shooting Park in Horace. A total of 1,562 students representing 97 high school teams from across the state are slated to compete in this exciting event, according to a recent announcement by the league.
This spring, participation in the North Dakota State High School Clay Target League saw remarkable growth, with 2,347 students taking part from 107 high school teams statewide. The league operates under the umbrella of the USA Clay Target League, which fosters clay target shooting programs at both the high school and college levels across the nation.
In addition to the state tournament, the top-performing students from this season will have a chance to qualify for the prestigious USA High School Clay Target League National Championship, scheduled to take place from July 9-13 in Mason, Michigan.
