South Dakota Coyotes Announce 2025 Summit League Schedule
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The South Dakota Coyotes are set to host all three Summit League Dakota schools during the 2025 season, as confirmed by the conference office on Tuesday. The Coyotes will open their conference play at home, facing St. Thomas on September 28, followed by a series of matches against the North Dakota teams. This includes a notable matchup against the reigning regular season champions, North Dakota State, on October 2.
The highlight of the schedule is the anticipated Interstate Series clash with South Dakota State, taking place on Sunday, October 19. Following their strong start at home, the Coyotes will face a challenging road stretch, competing in four away matches over three weeks. They will travel to Kansas City and Oral Roberts on October 9 and 12, before heading to Omaha and Denver on October 23 and 26.
The Summit League Tournament will maintain its current format for 2025, with quarterfinals hosted by higher seeds on November 1 or 2. The semifinals and championship will be held at the No. 1 seed’s venue on November 6 and November 9, respectively.
Entering the new season, the Coyotes aim to improve on their previous year’s performance, which saw them exit in the quarterfinals after a tough overtime loss to South Dakota State. Finishing 2024 with a 3-9-6 record, including a 1-3-4 mark in conference play, the team is eager to turn the page and chase greater success in the upcoming season.
